SMART METERS FOR EMFULENI

The municipality of Emfuleni has launched a new metering system for the residences of Emfuleni.  Its called a smart meter, for both water and electricity. The pilot project is going to start in Bedworthpark, Vanderbijilpark and Eatonsite.

Yesterday we saw the mayor Greta Hlongwane launching the smart electricity meter in Vanderbijilpark SE 7. The reception of the metering system seems to have been accepteed with open arms bythe residences of that area.

The next stop will be Sebokeng zone 10 and 14 in the coming weeks.

Really hope the reception is as open ad welcoming there aswell.
